EPG

The European Poultry and Game Association, EPG for short, represents the interests of the European poultry and game trade. EPG publishes weekly newsletters on the latest developments in the poultry and game market. The association’s activities focus on participating in the drafting of national and intra-Community regulations, Directives, laws and provisions in the fields of marketing, customs matters, food law and hygiene, zoonosis law, packaging and the environment. The association plays an active role in numerous bodies of the food-processing industry and of the wholesale and foreign trade as well as on various committees at European and international level. The aim of its activities is to implement a uniform regulatory framework for the trade in game and poultry meat, to remove cross-border barriers to trade and to create greater transparency in directives and regulations.
